Chris Daum

President and CEO

As the president and chief executive officer of FMI Corporation, Chris Daum oversees the management of all FMI businesses and services and is responsible for the firm’s strategic growth initiatives.  

In addition to leading the firm, Chris works with owners, boards and management teams on strategic issues involving emerging industry trends, succession planning, ownership transfer, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Chris served as president and senior managing director of FMI Capital Advisors, the firm’s investment banking subsidiary, leading the utility infrastructure practice. 

He is a contributing author to numerous industry publications and media outlets, and a sought-after speaker on the economic, technological and competitive trends for the engineering and construction industry. 

Before FMI, Chris served as global financial services leader for an industrial company with operations throughout North America, South America and Europe. He began his career in public accounting with KPMG.
